Dear members we are happy to announce the release of YJSG 1.0.14. We all know that you have waited long time for this release but we hope it was worth your time. This version is a crossroad between further YJSG development and brings some very exciting features that you can take advantage of. Before we go in to details we would like to inform you that Yjsimplegrid.com is up and running and you can find detail documentation on how to use our Joomla Template Framework.
We hope you all had beautiful and pleasant holidays. New year is fully in tact and our team has an eye candy for you. We all know that you have waited long enough so here is a YJSG v1.0.14 preview. As you can see we added a new and shiny stylesheet to our YouGrids template and beside that here is a short list of framework improvements that you can expect:
As much as we hate this we rather postpone the release than get you involved in endless bugs reporting. We are forced to postpone the release due to Joomla 3.0.2 upcoming changes. There are about 190 open issues in Joomla! tracker and 5 of them affect us directly. We simply cannot give you YJSG 1.0.14 until those issues are fixed and our products are carefully tested.
As we advised in our latest post about Joomla 3.0 , YJSG is getting big makeover and new features that will pave the road to YJSG 2.0 stable release which is currently version RC1( not available for download ).
We are taking advantage of this upgrade to incorporate all the changes that are in Joomla 3.0 and slowly make transition to YJSG 2.0 where we will move the framework to a Joomla system plugin thus making version updates easier.
