The Joomla Project has announced the availability of Joomla 1.7 Alpha 1 for download - on time and on target. This is the first release made within the new six-month release cycle.

Joomla 1.5 Moo 1.2.4 and IE9 bug fix
We did some testing today and discovered that mootools version 1.2.4 that comes with Joomla 1.5.22 upgrade plugin is not compatible with IE9.
