Greetings, and welcome to the forums.

Regarding the Mint Fresh Youjoomla June '07 reference, that is the file /images/Logo.gif. It is 393 px wide by 105 px tall. Simply replace it with a file of the same size and name.

On the reference to the Joomla books ad logo, I'm afraid I don't see that on the demo. Can you provide me with a link to your site, or something else that can help me locate what you are referring to? Thanks!

Hi - Thanks for posting the link. What you have there is a banner advertisement. It is using the component Banners, which is included with the core Joomla! files. You can manage the banners from the Components menu in your admin area. There is also a module entitled "Banners", which can be copied, unpublished, published to other positions, etc. It can be managed via the Module Manager in your admin area.

Here is a link to more information from the Joomla! documentation: Help15:Screen.banners.15 - Joomla! Documentation

thanks once again for the reply.

i had this doubt abt the header. u said tht i just need to replace the logo image with some other file of same size. so i thought to use psp/ps and save the image as .gif n upload to ftp, right? one more thing is tht will the logo of mint still remain on the header bcos i just want to change the header text.

Hi - Yes, just create a GIF file, then upload to the server in the same location. Note that you might have to clear your browser's cache and cookies before you see the new image. The current image contains both the plant graphic and the text; simply change one or both.
