Module news item link is opening on homepage instead own page
If you are using any kind of Joomla newsflash or newslider modules and would like to have your module news items links open on their own page, you must publish that news item category or that specific news item in any Joomla! menu in order for it to get it's own Itemid. Otherwise it will "borrow" Itemid from the page where the modules is currently presented/published.
