I noticed a few threads have been closed in the template section that are not even a month old, could those possibly be left open even when replied to we may have follow questions and I would hate to create another thread on the same topic just for a follow up.

If you have 'following questions', after your previous problem has been solved, it is only considered natural to start new thread.

This is required in Forum Rules, http://www.youjoomla.com/joomla_supp...uncements.html , so don't feel you have to 'hate' to do so.

Hi - Thanks for your feedback. We are cleaning up the forums in an attempt to make solutions easier to find. As Orion_ indicated, the support team prefers to tackle reported issues one at a time, whenever possible.

For example, we occasionally get someone that posts something like 'I need the color for H3 changed on green.css, and I need to know how to modify the logo and then upload it, and I want to move the login box down a little bit so it aligns with (something). These are actually three different issues, and are best addressed individually.

Another thing we are attempting to eliminate (or at least significantly reduce) is someone posting a message, which may or may not get solved, regardless if it is marked 'solved' or not, and either the original poster posts unrelated questions in that post, or someone else comes along and says 'I have the same problem' and contaminates the original post. This can go on (and has previously gone on) ad infinitum. This type of posting is not conducive to the professional support we strive to provide.

To that end, when a post is marked 'solved' by the original poster or the support team, it will typically be closed immediately, or soon thereafter. Again, this is not an attempt to stifle additional comment or information from the original poster, rather it is intended to keep the discussion focused on the issue as reported by the original poster. As you know, all users can post in any forum to which they have access, and we do our best to promptly address all legitimate posts.

Cheers!
