Hello All,

Although I have done this with Joomla! themes from other suppliers I can't seem to crack it at the moment with this one.

I want to replace the default logo as shown in the demo site: Welcome to the Frontpage

You can see the one I'm working on here: Joomla! Overview

Forgive me if this is already dealt with somewhere, I have tried to look through as many as possible.

Any assistance appreciated.

Hi

Go to the root of your installation.
open these folders:
templates
youfashion
images
brick

in here you should see the image logo.png
make sure to name your own logo also logo.png, upload and overwrite to this location.

Sounds good
Just remember that when you do such changes, it is not alway's enough to just refresh your browser to see the actual changes.
You can clear joomla cache, or try to see your site in different browser.

Hello again,

Managed to get that sorted in principal, however perhaps you could assist again in order to save me a little time?

What is the best sized image to replace the default logo?

As you can see the one I have there at present doesn't fit or has cropped-off areas. cuttingedgesalon.org.uk

Hope that all makes sense?

Thank you

Hi There,

I think I cracked it!!

I used a pic size 298x72 which seems to fit OK without any cropping going on.
Let me know if you think it looks OK to you, or indeed if that size I've used is the 'best fit' or not.

Many thanks,
Tippa
