YouEdition - the first module does not support K2 (Yj News Slider 10), it's regular joomla articles, the next set of modules support K2 (YJ Accordion Newsflash 2.0 ), and then next module (Youdeveloper News Slider ) is again joomla articles.

I have 3 news sites and each of them works in the following way:
the first module is a news slider (something like Yj News Slider 10) that shows all the articles from all categories, you can't have 2-3 layout design, one is joomla standard articles and the second is a K2 layout.

I thought that Yj News Slider 10 supported K2,I think it would be logical because Yj News Slider 10 would take the latest articles from all K2 categories, but like this the K2 component has no sense to be installed, I guess it's just there for marketing reasons or am I wrong?

Are you sure your are posting in product assigned forum?: Yes

What is your CMS version?: Joomla 2.5

MySQL Version: 5.x

PHP version: 5.x

Link to installation: www.localhost.com

Have you edited any files? If yes tell us which ones.: No

understand that the modules that were used ( ones with no k2 ) are made before there was k2 , just because they dont have k2 support does not mean we should trow them away.

They might get updated in the future but for now , on each demo we use any of our modules , depending on layout so it is not marketing or that we dont want to use the ones with k2 , it is layout that we go for. and understand please that we first develop for joomla and than for any other 3rd party extensions

I fully understand that, but the template has no sense the way it is now. You can only use it without K2.In the demo version you should create a category for (Yj News Slider 10) and the same category in the K2 Component with the same articles (Accordion Newsflash 2.0) in the order that the demo template to work.
