Hy. I decided to make the site from sratch anyway at least to try it out localy on my computer.

I build the site and it's all looking good but when I create a text separator as the main item to hold other menu items it's rendered smaller. I found the question on the boards already but the anwser wasn't provided. How can I make the separator the same size as the rest of the menu items?

I provided a screenshot.

Thank you!

You can try to use this class to style the separator.
ul.yjsgmenu li .separator{}

But where do I input this class? The menu item has no option to put in classes.

That is the default class of the separator menu item, you can add that inside your custom.css file and style it to your use.

I did what you told me and copied the code you gave me at the end of the file. But nothing changed. What exactly am I suppose to write? Am I suppose to write something in to the curved brackets? I am not a programer and I really don't know how to write CSS from scratch.

I wrote this:

ul.yjsgmenu li .separator{
	float: left;
	padding: 10px;
The item size is now right but the icon I assigned in the menu manager in Joomla backend still doesn't show up.
