[SOLVED] Is Couture the right template for me?

Hi,

I have no background in website development but I would like to build my portfolio website in the next few weeks. I am looking for a template with side menu. I have researched which Joomla template to use and found Couture (http://joomlatemplates.youjoomla.info/couture/).

I will need advise whether Couture has the capability to meet my requirements. I would appreciate it if you're able to look at my mock-up (attached pdf files containing yellow placeholders for images).


I suspect that I am able to implement pages 1 and 2 using Couture. I would like to hear from you if you think otherwise. For sure, I will need advice about page 3. Page 3 appears when a user selects one of my projects from page 2. All pages must be scrollable.


I would greatly appreciate your input and would welcome other suggestions for templates if Couture is not appropriate for my purpose.

Checked your mock-ups and i am sure you can manage it with Couture template.
All pages can be scroll able and the left block (menu block) can be fixed, no scroll.
As for the page 3 there will not be any issues, all positions are on the right side of the menu.

I am still not clear how to implement page 3 with the allowed module positions given only an illustration (not an actual working demo). However, your reply has given me more confidence re Couture.

So your 3th page can be done the similar way, the main output is on the right side with the module positions.
