Hi,

I have translate all exinium template vars to pt-PT, has told in https://github.com/YJSGframework/yjsg/issues/14
"Go trough templateDetails.xml and you cann add YJSG langs strings but again , they do not belong to the plugin and template fixes should not be submitted in this repo.". So we:

1. Added the pt-PT language in "templateDetails.xml" file

Code:

<languages folder="language">
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB/en-GB.tpl_eximium.ini</language>
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB/en-GB.tpl_eximium.sys.ini</language>
<language tag="pt-PT">pt-PT/pt-PT.tpl_eximium.ini</language>
<language tag="pt-PT">pt-PT/pt-PT.tpl_eximium.sys.ini</language>
</languages>
2. Added a languague folder [template dir]/]language/pt-PT

3. Added two files inside that folder:
pt-PT.tpl_eximium.sys.ini

Code:

; $Id: pt-PT.tpl_eximium.sys.ini
; package YJSG Framework Based Joomla Template
; YJSimpleGrid Joomla! Template Framework http://www.yjsimplegrid.com  http://www.youjoomla.com
; Copyright (C) Since 2006 Youjoomla.com. All rights reserved.
; License http://yjsimplegrid.com/docs/yjsg-license.html
; Note : All ini files need to be saved as UTF-8 - No BOM
And pt-PT.tpl_eximium.ini

Code:

; $Id: pt-PT.tpl_eximium.ini
; package YJSG Framework Based Joomla Template
; YJSimpleGrid Joomla! Template Framework http://www.yjsimplegrid.com  http://www.youjoomla.com
; Copyright (C) Since 2006 Youjoomla.com. All rights reserved.
; License http://yjsimplegrid.com/docs/yjsg-license.html
; Note : All ini files need to be saved as UTF-8 - No BOM
COM_TEMPLATES_YJSG_VERSION_CHECK_FIELDSET_LABEL="Verificação de sistema do YJSG"
YJSG_CHECK ="Verificação de plugin do YJSG"
YJSG_CHECK_TIP="Este template utiliza o YJ Simple Grid Template Framework. O plugin YJSG é necessário para este template funcionar."
YJSG_INS_PUB="Plugin YJSG"
YJSG_INS_PUB2="está instalado e publicado."
4. And installed the complete pt-PT translation of YJSG Framework

But the problem is:
There the first separator "YJSG System Check" in the template admin is still not translated!
There seems to be a bug
Example:
Quote:
YJSG Plugin Check
YJSG Plugin v2.2.0 is installed and published. Click here to manage this extension.
Note: all file/folder permissions are ok

Please try to install a complete pt-PT setup with YJSG grid framework and Eximium template and you see what we mean.
As you may have notice by now, we need the site and admin complete translation for pt-PT, and have no problem in translate and share with YouJoomla (as we did in github), so you can use on other pt-PT (or even pt-BR) costumers.
But sincerely your Framework/Templates/Plugins (which are very good) is giving a good fight by being a trouble to translate from one end to another.

For instance, as web developers we can understand that js strings are a trouble to translate, but if you don't allow them to be translated, even frontend strings like Next Prev, Close, Select, Show all, etc cannot be translated... this is not good of course for personal and commercial multilangue (or other language than en-GB) environments
How about, for instance, having a php script in YJSG Framework that generates a js file (or inline script) with the strings based on the user selected language? This js would be the first to be loaded and could be used by all js in yjsg framework/templates/plugins, if a js file you could cache this js for faster load, of course.
Is possible that a system like this, could solve the problem, and allow transaltions of all js messages. Just and idea.

Thanks

Ok.
Just added a temporary git with the english and portuguese translation
en-GB: https://github.com/ptopenweb/eximium...pl_eximium.ini
pt-PT: https://github.com/ptopenweb/eximium...pl_eximium.ini
I will delete the git once you have yours up and running.
