I cant turn off the youjoomla date in my newsflash module, and it also displays the wrong date in the articles in that module position...

have a look at www.marty.com.au and look to the very bottom right of the page where it picks a random article to display - the date is allways 31/dec/1969

The module ID is 73, which I have excluded, but it still shows....

Keep in mind its a MODULE not an ARTICLE

any ideas there?

- otherwise its a fantastic little plugin!

You cant exclude module id but section id, I am working on a fix , it might take a bit, for now either unpublish plug , restrict that section or unpublish the module

Thanks for getting back to me so quick.

It doesnet have a \section\ I can exclude, so I will leave it all there for now, and wait for a fix...

As its at the bottom of the page its not that bad for now..

Just realised after upgrading to version yj_date_1.5.02.zip
it is back in the newsflash, and I cant turn it off

Have a look at www.marty.com.au

Any ideas?

Cheers..
Marty

UPDATE: actually, even stranger, its showing up intermittently, more often in IE, and more often on other pages, not the front page..
ie
http://www.marty.com.au/sci-fi-gallery/commissions.html

AND the date is 31dec 1969.. when it does
Weird!.
