Hello
I've a website (J2.5) that actually is using PHP 5.3. In couples of weeks ISP will switch to PHP 5.4.

What I've to do in order that my website is running properly with PHP 5.4?

I've made test and if I switch to 5.4 without doing something my website is not displayed properly.

I'm not so familiar with PHP (I'm not programmer) so it would be very helpful if I'd get help with a tutorial or something.

Many thanks for your quick help.
Rob

first make sure that strict error reporting is off
PHP 5 disable strict standards error - Stack Overflow

and for the rest you need to give use info , simply saying blank page does not bring us any further. look in error logs to see the errors

Hello Neo

I've put the website short on PHP 5.3 and made some screenshots ... find them attached.

Concering the "to do" in the Link you provided ... sincerely, I'm absolutely lost. I'm not so deep programmer and I understand nothing what's written.

Can you help me please?

Is there not a kind of tutorial like for YJSG manual update?
What about to re-install the template?
--> I'm going to loose data/formatting, etc.?

Many thanks for your help.

there is no tut for PHP that we provide , it is very simple
folow this
php - How to eliminate php5 Strict standards errors? - Stack Overflow

in your server root find php.ini , if there is one

and change the error_reporting line to

error_reporting(E_ALL ^ E_STRICT);

or

error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_STRICT

if you dont have php.ini in your root , contact your hosting company and have them help you.
