[SOLVED] YJSG V2 - problems with Smartline template

Hi there,

I love the new YJSG framework, but it seems to be causing a couple of problems with my Smartline template, which I updated at the same time.

First, the login button (top right which opens the login modal) has vanished. I've checked the module settings, and all seems OK, but it just won't show. Instead it leaves a blank space where it should appear.

Second, the EDIT and ADD ITEM buttons have disappeared from K2 content items. I have a publisher-level user who modifies these items from the frontend, and now when she logs in these buttons have gone. We can edit Joomla articles from the frontend, but not K2 articles...

Any ideas?

TIA,
Bubbba

not tested but I think it is boostrap3 modal class bug

add this in custom.css

.bootstrap3 a.modal{
position:static;/* also try relative */
display:block;
}

Hi neo,

It isn't the modal box that's the problem - it's the actual login button which won't show. There's nothing to click on, just a blank space.

OK - I see.
Yes - this solves the EDIT button problem, but not the LOGIN button, which still remains invisible.

The LOGIN button may be a template problem - if I look at the source code of my page there's no reference at all to the LOGIN button in the header, yet the code for the modal window is there at the bottom of the page.

I didn't change yjsg_headerblock.php - the code for loginmodal is still there.

I updated following the instructions - yjsg plugin first, then new template.
However, when I click the "clear cache & save" button in the template manager I get the following error message in the left column:
"Cache not cleared. Canot delete old files. Possible css error. Check frontpage."

Maybe this is the source of the problem? It's strange, because everything else seems to be working OK...

Hang on - I don't have a file called yjsg_headerblock.php in my layouts folder. I have just 2 files in there:
- yjsg_custom_headerblock.php
- yjsg_modal_login.php

Both appear to contain the code for the loginmodal button.
