Using K2

Hi, I am looking for advice for organizing a property management site that will have homes for sale and for rent. I am using the Youestate template, and other than buying Joomanager, this seems to be a good option. Any input on how good K2 would work in this situation would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi - I didn't want you to think the support team was ignoring your post, and I am not speaking for the entire support team, just myself. I don't typically get involved in recommending solutions to people, except perhaps in a generic sense.

As you noted, you are looking at a third-party component to use in the Joomla! framework. While this might in fact prove to be the ideal solution for you, I would like to suggest that you consider alternate ideas such as gratis and non-gratis solutions to manage such a site. I am not suggesting that you necessarily go this route, just that you investigate it.

Yeah, I know this wasn't really a tech support question, I just haven't really used k2 yet and was hoping for a little feedback as to possible limitations etc. Thanks for answering though.

Hi - I have limited experience with K2 as well, and you might encounter some extensions that may not work with it. Should that happen, please check the download area as there are some extensions that have versions modified to work with K2. As always, good luck!
