When I try to clear cache and save I get "Requested page not found. [404]". I have done a few upgrades recently, including YJSG 2.2.3. I did the development work on an offline copy of the site on a subdomain (dev.abbotsholmians.co.uk). Clear cache and save works fine on that copy of the site.

Are you sure your are posting in product assigned forum?: Yes

What is your CMS version?: Joomla 3.x

MySQL Version: 5.x

PHP version: 5.x

Link to installation: http://www.abbotsholmians.co.uk

Have you edited any files? If yes tell us which ones.: No

Is this personal or client website?: Personal

Hello NickC4555.
Please check for the folder permissions on your site also please try to change htaccess.txt file to .htaccess and see if that will work.

The folders are all writeable and .htaccess has always been there. Clear cache and save works on the same site when it is on the development subdomain with all the same folder permissions and .htaccess.

As you can see here your configuration.php file is unwritable.
Make it writable, after that please check for the save function.

It still produces the same error. configuration.php isn't writeable on my development subdomain either, but clear cache and save works on that.

I think is admin tools setup , try disabling plugins one by one ,
admin tools sometimes does not allow read/writte to plugin/template dirs ,

this is what I get

so there is a restriction in place
