Get Connected Template.. Need Help.

Hi How do I get rid of this:

I thought I did on the back end on the template manager:

[code:1]$showadw = 0; // 1:«»Show Advertising Shelf 0:Turn Off Advertising Shelf[/code:1]

I set that to zero (0) but Still comes out.. I replaced that with another Module to view the Banner. But still that Thing still popping out. is that the right place I suppose to change it?
