Cant make Afm work after changeing server
 
hi

I have changed server recently and having some troubles making Afm work.
When i go to Afm from the back It looks like afm is not anymore there, just rite com_afm and nothing else.
I uninstalled it and tred to install it again and I have this error:
Code:
SQL Error DB function failed with error number 1062
Duplicate entry 1 for key 1 SQL=INSERT INTO `jos_afm_config` (`id`, `setting_name`, `setting_value`) VALUES (1, files.uploaddir, download);
SQL =

INSERT INTO `jos_afm_config` (`id`, `setting_name`, `setting_value`) VALUES (1, files.uploaddir, download)
I m not really good in database. Any one can tell me what to do?

never used it , but mysql duplicated entry means that you are trying to populate table with existing values with wrong mysql command, you should use drop table if exist if you want to replace the existing values. I assume you are transferring DB , when exporting old DB check the checkbox where it says
Add DROP TABLE / VIEW / PROCEDURE / FUNCTION and than you can import in new DB

Thanx neo for all ur support,
I am doing it now.
As I told I never did it before any time I had problem with db a frind of mine did it for me.
I went there checked aal the boxes then drop table.
Can you tell me please in details what should i exactly do?

it worked i just dropped the table
installed the component and it got installed
