Error displaying a Social display module in top position.

I was planning to use the top position to display a different module that contains social buttons, FB, google, yahoo, Linked in etc.. However I installed 2 separate extensions that were from different developers and for 1.6/1.7 and neither will display.

What is blocking the module from showing on the front end, and how do i fix it!
