Here are the problems I'm looking to solve.

Site: http://www.ymexchange.com

- The tools control seems to have no effect.
- In IE and in some resolutions, the search form gets moved to the same line as the top menu. This doesn't happen in the demo page.
- Some of the module boxes don't seem to go all the way around modules. See "member area" for example.
- The colored box doesn't go all the way around the site in Firefox. It ends below the header.

Also, would it be possible to hire someone to code the Joomla Newline header to work with my Simplemachines forum? I'd like it to match the Joomla site.

Are you using a SEF plugin? If so try turning it off.

Yes, we use SH404SEF.

Turning it off isn't really an option as we really want/need those URLs to look that way.

Are there other options?

Yes, that seems to have cleared up some of the problem.

Also, note that the front page is running ijoomla's news portal.

What other problems do you seem to be having? Also did you just change the footer.
