Hi

I have a question is it possible to copy/duplicate the frontpage slider module.

I tried to copy it to display a special section on a different module position and its gave me this error;

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare slikice() (previously declared in /mnt/w0111/d01/s30/b01692dd/www/mysite.com/modules/ mod_myfp_slider.php:506) in /mnt/w0111/d01/s30/b01692dd/www/mysite.com/modules/mod_myfp_slider.php on line 556

yes same process works for MYFP slider only difference is that you need to edit 1 file for the function not 2 (read the last post on that page) and you would look for this function

Anyway I am sorry but I don't really understand what you mean by change the function function slikice I found it on the php file and just change it to function slikice2.. The rest i think its seem ok.

Infact I was doing everything except that function which after successfully uploading the module and published it I end up with this error;
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare newheadtag() (previously declared in /mnt/w0111/d01/s30/b01692dd/www/mysite.com/modules/ mod_myfp_slider.php:113) in /mnt/w0111/d01/s30/b01692dd/www/mysite.com/modules/ mod_myfp_slider2.php on line 113

which basically point back to the function... learning the hard way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry a quick update I went and re-read the post on mod_tap and I think I was thinking complicated.

Anyway its seem now that you mean to change the "function slikice" to the word "yourfunction" I thought it was some individual customise function.


Anyway I wend and edit the mod_myfp_slider2.php on line 506 from function slikice to yourfunction. then I end up with this error;

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /mnt/w0111/d01/s30/b01692dd/www/mysite.com/modules/ mod_myfp_slider2.php on line 506

Sorry this is all foreign language to me but I am willing to learn even if its mean making a fool of myself..Lol
