Ok, sorry did not realise changing module width from % to px would come under custom work, will have a try at fixed setting layout.css

it is not if you are changing widths of all 3 mods to be same , but you want each mod to be different size and that requires additional coding not only seting the %

yep i understand that but excuse my lack of knowledge but often when dealing with size you can just change % for px but this does not seem possible, not sure if it is joomla or template restriction though.
Like i said i will give the layout.css edit a try and see how i go with that.
