Is it possible to use swf files for banner components in Joomla?
I've tried but it's not showing up - just wondering if there's any little tweaks I can do.

I dont think so but you can always use custom module and just place swf file in there

I kinda like the click through options that the banner component provides. Not to worry - custom mod it is then.
