Well I've learnt to look before I leap so I hope you'll forgive me for asking this question guys and gals.....
Is it safe to install image slider while using the Equalizer template in legacy mode??

The only reason that prompted me to ask that question was I see A LOT of extensions available and they either say Joomla 1.5 Native OR Joomla 1.5 Legacy.

Now me being a complete noob (did ya guess!!) wondered to myself "Why are there extensions specifically for native and legacy? - maybe you cannot install a plugin for native if your site's in legacy mode!!!)

So just to make it clear once and for all.....if my J1.5 is in legacy mode it is still alright for me to install plugins, modules, components etc etc for Joomla 1.5 native.

legacy is for extensions that are originally made for joomla 1.0 but legacy does not work always , this is why we have specific version for our modules, if you have legcy on it will not affect modules plugins components mad for joomla 1.5 only
