there are a few things shown here: http://www.joomla1.0.youjoomla.info/newsline2/ that i'd like to incorporate but don't know how.
first, the banner position at top.. that position isn't an option in the module.
second, the bullets as show in the top right module (fast links)... what is that module anyway?
third, the tools that show the date and the page you're on at the top of the page

thanks for any assistance

It would be easier for you to just install the demo. Here's a link to the templates module positions. If you look atthe demo it will tell you every module and component that is installed. Just download the modules and install them in the same positions.
