Hi,
I have just downloaded and installed the University template. I cannot change the logo as the template is not writable. Please assist.

if you are talking about the red warning in template settings , that has nothing to do with the logo , you should be able to override files trough your ftp of host cpanel, any of these have nothing to do with joomla or template
