A Joomla template is the look of your site, with all its unique layout and styles. Not to confuse template with demo , template does not come with any demo content. Template is only predefined layout of possible modules positions including the main website graphics like , header , logo or footer.

How to install Joomla Template?

1.      Download your desired template. (Be sure to know where it's located on your computer!)
2.      Log into your administrator backend.
3.      Find Extensions/Install-Uninstall/Upload Package File click on Browse button

4.      Find the downloaded  template.zip file. Click and hit Upload File & Install
5.      Now go to :  Extensions/ Template Manager
6.      You can see the 3 default Joomla templates as well as your new one.
7.      Choose your template and click Default ( click on checkbox next to your template )
8.      Now you see a star next to your chosen Template, and you are all set.
9.      Note:  Remember to refresh the site to see the changes.
