"Empty space" between top menu and article

Hi

There's alot of "empty space" between my top menu and the articles, when displayed on narrow screens. You'll find the same by default on Eximium template (see attached screenshot).

Looks like the "horiznav" is using this space, even though it's not displayed.

Is it possible to override this? (I'm a newbie...)

Hi arefund, and thank you for quick response.

I don't have a live site yet. Just a localhost-instal using MAMP.
But I noticed the same "empty space" on the Eximium demo-site, when narrowing the window/display width. http://joomlatemplates.youjoomla.info/eximium/

I posted a screenshot while marking the code (using firebug) in my first post.

If you open the demosite and narrow your display, then <div id="horiznav" class="horiznav"> should show you the case.

(Here's the code in the context, copied from the demosite using firebug:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html class="bootstrap3 homepage com_content view-featured top_menu_flexible" lang="en-gb" dir="ltr" xml:lang="en-gb" hola_ext_inject="ready">
<head>
<body id="stylefont" class="yjsgbody style_blue yjsgbr-firefox" style="font-size: 14px;" hola-ext-player="1">
<div id="centertop" class="centered yjsgsitew">
<div id="topmenu_holder" class="yjsgmega">
<div id="mmenu_holder">
<div class="yjsg-menu top_menu yjsgsitew inside-container">
<div id="horiznav" class="horiznav">

As you can see here http://prntscr.com/8tn3bp the menu is hidden and its not visible and its takes no effect for the space.
If you want to remove the space you can remove the padding from Grid2.

Hi again.

Removing padding from grid2 helps, but still there seems to be more "empty space" between the menu and the article in my browser, than on the screenshot you provided (prntscr.com/8tn3yd).
Here's a new screenshot of the eximium demo-page, as shown in my browser.
http://prntscr.com/8tnijk
This shot shows the grid 2 padding, so you may compare with your shot prntscr.com/8tn3yd.

Please try to add this into your custom.css:
#yjsg2.yjsg_grid{
padding-top:0;
}
so you can get this stlyle:

Tried it. But still the "empty space" is twice the hight in your screenshot.

But it's ok for now. I'll rather return to the topic when i got a live site

Thx for the help anyways!
