Is it possible to make the Baseline template fully compatible with retina MacBooks?

On the internet I found the following plugin:
Retina.js | Retina graphics for your website

I uploaded the .js file as mentioned in the description. To make it work I have to put the following line of code before the /body tag.

script type="text/javascript" src="/scripts/retina.js"/script
(left the <> out cause I can't post this question with those signs in it)

When I enter template manager -> custom code and paste the code into the 'before /body tag' box and hit save, it won't work (while I've uploaded retina images such as my logo).

Is there another place where I have to put this line of code? Please help
