Thanks a lot.
Is that also the place to fix the Category Name problem I have ?
I would love not to show the category name in the scroller.

you can copy that complete folder , name it to what you need , select that on in module admin and that head at it. change what ever you desire.

Yes - I guess this also could be be done for any other module.
Yet the question remains - how to show only the article title within the scroller - without showing the category name next to it.

The question is if you can customize the code for your module.
Using another module that does the job, all I was trying to say that it should be fixed.

I honestly have no idea what you think is broken.
And what category you are talking about.
First you mentioned a ">" char and I advised you where it can be removed.

What is so wrong with this module
Joomla! Extensions Demo - YJ Title Ticker

that needs a fix and what category do you see there?

Module displays Custom title text that can be changed in module params, a title and part of the intro text,

Wrong.
Take a look at the scroller behavior on the frontend.
You will notice that for each article that belongs to a sub category it will show both the article name & the sub category name instead of showing only the article name:
Example:
CATEGORY 1 - SUB CATEGORY 11 - ARTICLE 1
Will be displayed at the frontend as....
ARTICLE 1 > SUB CATEGORY 11
While it should display only the article name
ARTICLE 1

I hope this example will clarify the problem.
