Can't change to a new style

I am trying to create a new style following the directions at new.css. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the template twice now and followed the instructions exactly but all that shows is the "metal" style. This is the style I copied to make changes to. I can change the style setting to mesh and new just fine but when I change it to red (the style I'm trying to create) it just shows metal even though I have loaded new "red" images and my logo to the red images folder. Please help! I have Joomla 1.5.20 and php 5.
Thank you

Hi,

yeah I got that problem too.

you must add "yourstyle" in templateDetails.xml like in the description in the Demo site and in yjsg_stylesw.php, You will find that file in yjsgcore directory.

yjsg_stylesw.php on line 18

Code:

$mystyles = array(
        'mesh', 'metal', 'new'
);
change to

Code:

$mystyles = array(
        'mesh', 'metal', 'new', 'yourstyle_here'
);
Maybe one from the Youjoomla Team add that to the tutorial

have a nice weekend
