Here are the problems Im looking to solve.

Site:
http://www.ymexchange.com

- The tools control seems to have no effect.
- In IE and in some resolutions, the search form gets moved to the same line as the top menu. This doesnt happen in the demo page.
- Some of the module boxes dont seem to go all the way around modules. See \member area\ for example.
- The colored box doesnt go all the way around the site in Firefox. It ends below the header.

Also, would it be possible to hire someone to code the Joomla Newline header to work with my Simplemachines forum? Id like it to match the Joomla site.

Are you using a SEF plugin? If so try turning it off.

Yes, we use SH404SEF.

Turning it off isnt really an option as we really want/need those URLs to look that way.

Are there other options?

Yes, that seems to have cleared up some of the problem.

Also, note that the front page is running ijoomlas news portal.

What other problems do you seem to be having? Also did you just change the footer.

Well, that didnt seem to solve a problem as it just pointed to what is causing it. The SEF/SEO stuff must be enabled!

The other major problem is that the blue lines around the content seem to get covered up by the columns. There are lots of minor issues that Im working through here. Lets hit the big ones first.
