Issues with default link color and Style 3

I have edited the Style 3 CSS. That's the only one I know of.

The issue is that all of a sudden the settings for link color on the template won't apply. If I try to change the link color, it reverts my Default style setting back to Style 1 from style 3.

If I have Style 3 set, it reverts my link color back. It used to work but I must have a setting preventing me from changing the link color?

To Clarify, the setting only changes the article link color, not the regular sitelink colors. They remain red color no matter what I do.

changing style css will not affect template admin. are you sure you did not change style css file name, folder name etc? if you did you need to apply same changes in templatedetails.xml file
