Module Settings Issue

Hello - I am using the Photolicious template. At this point, I am referring to the module called "Event Types", which is the equivalent of the module called "Our Latest Work" on the Photolicious template here: Joomla! Templates, Joomla! Extensions and Wordpress Themes Demo

For some reason the settings on this module went funny. When you hover over the images, you no longer get the description that used to be there. How do I get that back?

Also, how do I remove the ZOOM, LIKE and COMMENT boxes on the top of the images when they are hovered over?

Are you sure your are posting in product assigned forum?: Yes

What is your CMS version?: Joomla 2.5

MySQL Version: 5.x

PHP version: 5.x

Link to installation: E.N.D. The Social Club

Have you edited any files? If yes tell us which ones.: Yes

Is this personal or client website?: Personal

Hi Arefund,

Thank you for the response.

Thank you for helping me to remove the zoom, like and comment area :)

Yes, the module is set to using "photolicious" module template. But unfortunately it's still not displaying correctly. I think I may have hidden a parameter, which may have caused it to disappear. But I don't know which parameter it could be :(

If you'd like me to PM you the backend details, I'm happy to do it. Just let me know :)

commercial product support is for active member only. please extend your membership in order to receive support.

Not to be funny, but this is a free extension, so why can't I get support on the free extension? It's got nothing to do with the Template.

pmanolis 05-15-2014 11:01 AM

Maybe because the template you use isn't free ? ;)

CreativeDesigns 05-15-2014 11:10 AM

but surely if the problem is with the MODULE, and not with the TEMPLATE, then support should be given for the module??
I completely understand that there would be no support for the template. I have no problem with that. But the fact that the issue is with the settings on the FREE MODULE, I feel like I should get support for the module.

Not funny...

no , the support is for the custom modification on a free module used in a commercial product. Just the point that I have to explain this to a customer makes me sad. It feels like begging you to support our developers. And I see you have no issues asking Arefund to get in your site backend. Only that should be worth something. Wouldn't you say?

Actually I am wrong , you are not talking about YJME at all ,
you are talking about a commercial module called Youbricks engine module
Joomla! Extensions Demo - Youbricks Engine Module
YouBricks Engine Module - Joomla meets jQuery Masonry
which makes my point completely valid.

There is a NICE way to explain to a customer, instead of saying how "sad" it is that you have to bother with me. It actually just goes to show how you don't actually have the time of day to give your clients.

If you bothered to check - I was a member to your site for quite a while, and hardly ever asked for any help. It's got NOTHING to do with me not wanting to pay for service/support, but if the module says YJ Module Engine, and your website says that YJ Module Engine is a free module, then I don't see why I need to renew my membership right this very minute, if I can get simple support as to tell me what parameter I mistakenly disabled!

It's because of people's attitudes like this that I have just decided that I WON'T be renewing the membership with YouJoomla again. I get much better service with other providers.

**ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED**
