Just found an old link where it says that "rtsp" is not compatible. The file links must be http. Is that correct?
For some reason, when I use links to my files that are http instead of rtmp, they are much slower to upload than what I see on your youjoomla movies demo videos (You Movies - Joomla Movies Template) and they sometimes start and stop. Do you maintain your own server or something else? What's your secret if youmovies doesn't allow rtmp? Thanks for any response. |

Hi - You can play MOV, MP4, H.264,FLV,F4V file types, and play them remotely or locally. The speed of download and the quality of the file being played can be affected by a great number of factors. Having a dedicated server, or one that is not bloated by hundreds of other accounts, goes a long way towards ensuring smooth playback. However, even the major services like YouTube get choked sometimes.
