Neeeeeeeeeeeee-oh
I know this isnt a you joomla question and I realise I am being VERY cheeky but I also know youll tell me if I have stepped outta line so thats cool. Plus - I notice this forum is Fireboard and if you dont ask you dont get, right? I have asked this question on Best of Joomla forum and even though my question has had 7639 views (!!!!) no-one has replied to me and I feel quite sad. This is my problem: I am running J 1.5.2 in legacy mode and I have installed Fireboard 1.0.5. In my Joomla config I have enabled user registration and ticked all the appropriate boxes in the FB config too. When I click on \Register\ at the top of the FB forum I get taken to the registration page where I fill out all the fields. But when I hit \Register\ nothing happens apart from the registration page being refreshed. I cant login because the registration hasnt gone through - theres no activation email or anything - just a refreshed registration page. I have tried disabling modules to see if any of them could be affecting this but that makes no difference what-so-ever. Any help greatly appreciated. www.enetcomputers.net

to be honest I had no idea 1.05 is out
![]() now it says RC1 , so if I where you I would not use it since it is not stable . Use 1.0.4 and it should not give you any problems. as for their support they are famous by not answering. the community is supporting themselves without developers as for your bug it has nothing to do with FB I see it is directing to joomla registration properly so FB is out of the question what you need is this <jdoc:include type=\message\ /> open template index.php and place it under <div id=\<? echo $content; ?>\> this way you get the alert what was done on registration, I registered and activated my account with no problems and made a post ![]() |
