Default Newsline cannot CHMOD to 777 nor can I upload file

Hi Neo,

Please HELP!! I need to get the \NEWSLINE\ template permissions up to 777

All other default installed templates have no problems.

Response: 550 logo_light.gif: Permission denied
Error: Critical error

Is there a php script value I need to disable when installing?
php.ini values?
.htaccess values?

Ive already installed the template in 4 directories and I cant even erase it!

Thanks

I did contact them my hosting provider and we even have a dedicated server.
All directories in JOOMLA are writable.

The Newsline directory I cannot FTP into it nor CHMOD does.

Permissions all say error 550.

Your help is much appreciated.

Try setting your permissions to 755.

Permission are already set to 755 but doesnt do anything.

Why is this \Newsline Template\ permission restricted? All other default templates work fine.

Do I need to add php.ini values? I am just locked out. I cant upload.

NEO SOLVED IT!

I downloaded JoomlaXplorer and used it to change ownership and permissions. Very Strong!

component inside Joomla that can navigate just as FTP does.

Default 404 - Article #0 not found ? Can someone help!

Can someone help me solve this simple issue I just cannot.

All articles on both \mod_myfp_slider\ and \mod_tab_news\ in the Newsline template give out 404 - Article #0 not found errors.

Please take a look.
