Smile Yourgrids and Joomla 1.6 Oddity (template switches back to metal)

Been using yougrids for quite some time (excellent framework!) and recently opted to give it a try on joomla 1.6 (second production site I have built using it with 1.6, the first one works fine)

My most recent one is running into some odd stuff - every once in a while it ignores the template setting to use mesh and reverts back to the metal css variant...

anybody else running into this issue?

thanks in advance and I'll post back here if I come across a solution in the meantime

(I have a feeling if I use the custom.css this issue will go away)

not that i know of , the grid is 99% same , that can happen if you are changing from frontend but in your backend is different default , if you are switching and testing make sure you as admin to use backend switch , fronted is for visitors

thanks for the feedback!

It did the same thing this morning when I visited the site - it loaded the metal style instead of the mesh style but since this is an isolated issue I am going to assume it is not a yougrid problem and will simply copy my css mods into the metal style sheet to overcome this...

On another note - is it possible to have the site load the mobile interface automagically using browser detection or do you HAVE to click it on the mobile device?

(the built in mobile support is one of my favorite options in yougrids)

reason why we left mobile as choice is user preference , they should decide if they want to see mobile version or regular one . we might change it in 2.0
