Question YouBooks

In the admin panel, how is it possible to remove the Welcome to Joomla! and the Joomla! Security Newsfeed as depicted in the attached screenshot?

that would not be youbooks customization but default joomla core. I suggest not to touch those but if you have to you would need to look in site_root administrator/components

I understand what you are saying, but it is so annoying when you login and it keeps opening to the Welcome to Joomla, it is driving me mad. Could you be more specific on which file it actually is?

Log in to your administration panel - go to Modules - click the Administrator tab - deactivate the modules you donīt want to show.
No need messing in the core Hope that helped you out.
