Default styleswitcher nav

trying to understand whats wrong with the styleswitcher in Equalizer template, can not see it?

when I install the EQ_Demo1 on my local server it looks like this where the styleswitcher should be seen:

\".$val[\"label\"].\"\"; } } ?> \".$val[\"label\"].\"\"; } } ?> \".$val[\"label\"].\"\"; } } ?>

whats wrong? what shall I do to show it and be able to use it?

You answer most topics here, why is my styleswitcher in Equalizer not not working?

I have installed the demo on a wamp-server, how do I fix it?
