Im sorry Im being such a pain, but Im still having troubles. I actually found the joomla tutorial for installing templates (much better than the manual), but Im still confused as to which is the actual template file. There were several files in the YJoomla Times package and I dont know what to do with all of them.
I had my hosting company wipe my database so I could start fresh. I reinstalled joomla. Then I tried to install the Times_Demo_unzip file as a template and I got an error message that the xml file was not a template file. * Which file is the actual template file? * I understand that I need to load and install the Times_Demo file in order to get all the additional functions, but * do I need to use an outside program like filezilla to upload it? * And then where do I put that file? Thank you for your patience and help! |

ok, you do not need to install anything after you have ran the installation like you should,
unzip the demo folder , transfer files to your root server access installation via browser www.yoursite.com/installation and just follow the installation steps. once you are done your site will look like the demo, you do not have to install anything else |
