Default How to remove unwanted and invisible link on images?

Hello

I'm a Joomla newbie, currently experimenting with the possibilities in CMS, and I'm facing a weird phenomenon with some - not all - the images on my test website.

I use the JCE editor to insert images and attach a link to them. This works well for some images, but other images somehow automatically link to the image file itself and not to the content page that I have selected.

Moreover, this link to the image file even persists when I remove the content page link, although I cannot see any such link to the image itself in the source code of that page.

You can see this problem on the frontpage article on my website. There are 4 images that should each link to a certain page on the website. This however only works correct on the left image, the other 3 images just ignore whatever link to a content page that I attach and instead have an unwanted link to the image file.

Any ideas?
Thanks

I have meanwhile discovered that this problem is caused by the ARI Sexy Lightbox extension. Having uninstalled this extension the problem has now disappeared.

Has anyone experienced the same problem and is there a workaround?
