1.7 hard drive failure, restore database

any one know how i can recover data from a joomla database, i used a template from here and had everything put into it, didnt even get a chance to back up the data base and my web server crashed.

The hosting company restored the drive and i can mount to the old on with the data but i do not know what im looking for.

I named the database joom07 and i see a folder in the mysql folder named joom07, ive tried to reinstall, then copy over all the folders to the new drive that did not work.

Ive seen some info on using phpadmin but i need the data base to import from.

any direction, been around the net soon just going to start from scratch again but uuuuhhhhh....

Hello erenninger.

Do you still have the installation folder for the demo? If you do, and you can access phpmyadmin, you can export the database and reinstall the demo.
