Im having a bit of trouble with 1.7 module positioning when a select position left it appears to be in between the article and right column what will be the correct positioning to make it appear to the very left of the page.
ive just upgraded to 1.7 and i wanna make sure i get use to this 1.7.. |

Hi.
Since i don't know what you are trying to publish i will guess it is some module/extension? Anyway, you can give it any of the "user" positions and then just style it to be on the left. Or you can switch your joomla default layout so that your "left" position is on the far left. You can see it in top menu > About YJSG > Default layout grids |

Still a bit confused.
for example Sample news item see how it says left and it appears to the left it doesn't, if i select a user position it appears on the top and the module's width is too wide. when you say style it to be on the left do you mean ordering 1.left ? i have tried it already doesnt do anything and yes im trying to position a custom html module.
