Hi,
I am new to Joomla and just purchased your Imagine Template. I installed it per the readme file included and assigned it as default. The modules, however, are not displaying as they did in the demo. It is my understanding, from my limited reading, that the modules are controlled by the template, yet that appears not to be so. Id be grateful for any enlightenment. Sincerely, Amy Transaction ID: 80L216879N391272V |

Are you trying to get you website to look like the demo?
If you are new to Joomla you should have a look at these videos first. They will give you a basic understanding of how Joomla works. Joomla Quick start Videos http://help.joomla.org/ghop/feb2008/task167/index.html |

Yes, I was trying to get it to look as it did in the demo. The site is currently misconfigured, however, on a fresh Joomla install, I was unable to make the template look as it did in the demo.
Thanks, Amy |

You would have to look at the module names in the demo. And then you would look at the module positions in the template layout on the link I gave you. Then you would go to the Admin: top menu tool bar and go to extensions. From there you would look for that modules name that you would want to publish. And you would publish in the same module position as the one in the demo.
NOTE: Also I notice that you are using Joomla 1.5 on your site. The template is Joomla 1.0 native so you might want to turn on the \System - Legacy\ in plugins in the extension manager. |

Okay,
This \thing\ is driving me mad, and the more I read and the more I try to do, the more addled I become. I followed the included instructions, and all appeared to go as anticipated, however, I am continuing to have the problems detailed in my previous post. I, however, did nothing with the \Images\ and \Fonts\ folder, included in the pack, as I believed them to be simply .PSD and \extra\ files. It would appear to me that perhaps some of the non-PSD files in the \Images\ folder may be vital. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks Again, Amy |
