Default Module YJ Accordion Newsflash loading on home page

I'm using the YJ Accordion Newsflash modules however they only seem to load on the home page when clicked. I would like the article to open on a new page and not on the home page.

Hello there..

A link to your site would be helpful, but what you describe is a joomla thing.
You must create a Menu ID for the content you publish in the newsflash so it will open up in it's own page.

Simply create for example new menu called Hidden Menu..
Let's say one category is Latest News, Then pick that as the Menu title, and type category blog (you can have article also depending on your content) and make sure the menu item (Latest News) is published in this new menu.

This menu is not a published module so it won't show up anywhere on your site.

This was very helpful as I had forgotten that Joomla quirk. Thanks.
